Avocado Chocolate Pudding
(No cooking required)

Recipe inspired by Eat Yourself Skinny

2-3 Hass avocados or 1 Florida avocado (you can learn the difference here)

2 heaping T raw cocoa powder

2 T plain or vanilla Greek yogurt

3/4 cup milk of your choice

2 T maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract


I used Florida avocado which is bigger than California Hass avocado and has lighter green color. Its flavor is kind of bland, so it's perfect for this recipe. It is very creamy and rich in consistency and you won't be able to taste the actual avocado. The more yogurt you add, the more it will resemble chocolate yogurt which is nice too. I think if you use Hass avocados, the color will be more dark and chocolatey.

This pudding is super easy, because you don't have to cook it. And it is so healthy. Avocados are considered to have high amount of fat, but don't let that scare you, because the fat in them is monounsaturated, which is good for your heart and actually helps you to keep the weight off!

Just blend all ingredients in a blender or Magic/Nutribullet. Adjust the taste to your liking. More maple syrup, vanilla or cocoa powder, depends on what you prefer. Enjoy!
