Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has so many uses whether used in the kitchen or in the bathroom as a beauty product. As far as beauty goes, you can use it as an universal moisturizer, eye makeup remover, lip balm, shaving or bathing oil, deodorant, bug bite/burns relief or dandruff treatment.

In the kitchen, coconut oil is excellent to use for frying and baking, because unlike other vegetable oils, it is stable and does not oxidize. It doesn't get yellow as well-known store-bought vegetable oils. The oil, that becomes yellow tends to cause clogging of blood vessels and coronary disease. When using coconut oil, the risk of these diseases is greatly reduced.

Even though this oil is processed by the body very quickly, because its digestion begins in the mouth, it sends the human body responsive power and less calories than other oils. Digestion of this oil therefore does not pollute the very bodies of the human body and is suitable as an alternative source of nutrition for infants. By consuming the oil you can even reduce weight and strain on the kidneys, it stabilizes blood sugar and helps to lower cholesterol.

When using this oil you will not feel hungry as quickly as with consumption of other fats and oils, it provides long-term feeling of satiety. Only a few teaspoons of oil can suppress hunger for up to several hours. It is therefore recommended to use it as an adjunct to diet for weight reduction. It helps to restore proper function of the thyroid gland which produces hormones that are important for metabolism exporting.

Organic virgin coconut oil contains antioxidants, which boosts immunity and helps the skin to heal itself. Because of its antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antiviral and antibacterial properties, it is effective on bruises, skin infections and can kill viruses that cause influenza, measles, hepatitis, herpes, SARS, etc. It also kills bacteria that cause ulcers, throat infections, urinary tract infections, pneumonia and gonorrhea. To combat the parasites, the topical application of oil directly to the affected area is recommended.

This oil protects the skin from the negative effects of sunlight and is especially suitable for sunbathing. It also protects against the cold and frost effects, it can therefore be used in winter as a protective lip balm and skin oil. Lovely smell and taste of fresh, organic oil made of coconut has beneficial antioxidant and soothing effects on our bodies. The lauric acid in this oil helps to treat viruses and bacteria causing diseases such as herpes, influenza, cytomegalovirus, and even HIV. It has been extensively used in Ayurveda, traditional Indian medicine. This oil is great for your hair too. Put about 4 teaspoons of oil in your hair each night before you go to bed and massage the scalp with it. Leave it overnight under a shower cap and in the morning after you wash it, you will see shiny and beautiful hair full of life that will love to grow!

Oil of coconut contains about 50% of lauric acid, which helps in preventing heart disease, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. It contains short and medium-chain fatty acids that help in taking off excessive weight. If you cook with coconut oil, it can improve your digestive system, it also helps in absorption of other vitamins, minerals and amino acids. I personally use it as a variable skin moisturizer, natural skin protector after shaving or tanning and in cooking.
