Only a few teaspoons of oil can suppress hunger for up to several hours. It is therefore recommended to use it as an adjunct to diet for weight reduction. It helps to restore proper function of the thyroid gland which produces hormones that are important for metabolism exporting.
Organic virgin coconut oil contains antioxidants, which boosts immunity and helps the skin to heal itself.
